Default 90 Prelude si wont start after sitting a day or more

I have a 90 prelude si b21 a1 engine i have had it about a year and put about 20,000 miles on it right now it has about 135,000mi.

I guess ill start from the beginning. anyone who has had a honda hopefully can understand what i am about to type. when i normally start the car. its like i know when to let off cranking before it even starts just used to my car and how to start it . its like i am trained .

it would always start fine. granted i drove the car every single day. well a few weeks ago it began to either barely start with the normal amount of time like run rough for the first few seconds then stall or continue to run.

Most recently i have noticed that if i leave the car for over 1 or 2 days it wont start for a while. i will just crank it and crank it and crank it until it starts sometimes for up to 5 minutes. thenit will start and run just fine. until the next time it sits a few days.

Im not sure when this started but as i said earlier i drove the car everyday up until recently when i lost my job. so i am not sure if this is a problenm thats been there and i never noticed because i drove it everyday or its something new that just occurred.

So far i have recently replaced the fuel filter the air filter and the spark plugs. None of those items made any differewnce at all. I am wondering if there is an air leak in the fuel line . thinking maybe the fuel bleeds back into the tank when the car is not running. I knda thought this because when i changed the fuel filter it seemed there was no pressure or gas shooting out when i removed the bleeder screw. i dont know if that was normal or not.

I also have a check engine light on but that has been on since the day i purchased it. and i have had no problems with inspections or anything. I was told something like the code refers to something related with the distributor but there is a backup in the distributor ir something so it wasnt necessary to change it. not sure if that is bs or makes any sense at all.

i tried to determine the code myself but im not sure i understand how to read the blinks. to me it seems like 4 long red leds then a quick red blink. I am just looking for some suggestions to make this thing run right thanks for your help and i hope . It makes just a litttle sense
Thanks in advance everyone
