JDM ITR headlight haze
I completed installation on my JDM front end but noticed one of the headlight has a haze on the headlight housing. The outside was completely wetsanded and buffed out but you can see in the pics that it wont let all of the light threw. Is there any way to buff the inside or will it ruin the light? Is the lens salvageable or need replacing?

easier said than done those lights are a tad bit more complicated than the USDM ones and if you accidentally fudge anything up your up a creek with out a paddle

it may be easier just to get a new piece. Really dont want to crack it open. Is there anyone else who has this on there headlights?
depending on where you bought your conversion, send them pictures and request that they send you another headlight in equal condtion as the passenger side. if they wont help you out, you dont really have a choice but to heat them up in the oven and wet sand the inside on the lens.

hell, i'd think it's worth it to try cracking it open and polishing the inside of the lens. it doesn't even really look that bad if you were to step back and take a look. in that picture with both lens, you can't really tell. i only speak for the ghetto R owners here

The headlights pictured in this thread are OEM JDM ITR headlights, non HID. The quickest way to spot the HID version of this headlight is to look for a circle in the headlamp lense. The lines in the non-HID version distort the light, so there is a line-less circle on the HID versions.
Aftermarket plug-in-play kits are not a true HID system. These kits use rebased bulds to fit into projector style lenses. The quality of light is drastically different than real retro-fit HIDs or OEM HID headlights. Also, plug play kits can actually REDUCE the amount of light in comparison to stock 9006 bulbs.
