has anyone with a DC5 had this problem? It only happens when the car is decelerating between the speeds of 60 to 40. There is a rattle noise coming from the guages, and it actually even sounds like a HUMMING noise. any help appreciated thanx it gets annoying

 

It could be anything in the dash making noise well the exhaust is making the right vibrations. I don't know if the ep3/dc5 cluster is like an eg but if it is check the cluster screws.

 

well the rattle only started like as of a week ago from sept. 6 2007. its really hard to explain. but all i know is that it is the guage cluster from which the noise is coming from. jus wanted to see if anyone else has had a similiar experience so this could be resolved.

 

well just check.. it's not hard.. i believe the screws are under the steering column.

 

wut would be the point of checking if i cant duplicate the noise except when its running or decelerating between 60 to 50 mph? i swear its like the needle or somthing right there! this is a problem i seen in really old cars. but now new. yet my car is exhibiting this issue. the buzz/humm is coming from the actual guage cluster not dash!
