Has 4 lugs-4
Thats all I could see at the moment.
And it also has a GSR front sway bar.

It is an R, at least the shell is. The firewall VIN reads JH4DC2310YS001740. This is confirmed through Honda's Owner Link website as a valid FBP 2000 ITR. The DC231 part of the VIN is exclusive to ITRs 
Poor thing, so much drama since leaving Suzuka. 
EDIT: As of April 2006 this caR has a Salvage/Junk/Rebuilt title as per Carfax.

The driver's door has been replaced with a non-ITR door since it has the side-molding. But the rear quarter panel lacks the side-molding. Seems as if most of the bolt on parts have been replaced.

That car would be a PITA to make it a Type R again.... but it is an R after all and even though it's a long shot I wish someone would. The big downside is the 10 thousand price tag, don't know how much the rice/parts on that car could be parted out for, but I think this one would be expensive to fix unless someone could find a smashed R for cheap as a donor car.

i saw the JH4DC231 bit
i will admit the poor thing has come to a sad end ever since the thieves decided they needed the parts more than the rightful owner

sweet fricking Jesus. I feel terrible for the car. The owner on the other hand, should not be allowed to touch another automobile again...in the form of having his hands chopped off.

a) i can't see a damn sunroof
b) how can you see the front sway bar from the pictures?

it IS truly an R.
DC23 - 1 (type r vin, we all have it) DC23-9 (gsr vin)
it IS missing a sunroof and molding on the rear. definately mis mashed of all its brotherin.
