Default run with open header??

I got a 88 civic hatch with a d16y7 swap header and CAI car is halfway strip'd out to save weight and light 14'' wheels.. im going to the track 2 moro nite to try and see wut kinda time i can get outta it before i turbo the car. now i got a aftermarket header, but the rest of the exhuast is the original exhuast with a 20yr old CAT on it lol. Prob be best to just pull the exhuast off and run a open header 2 moro nite huh?

It's the difference between a 16.0 and a 15.9

You'll get top end but lose the *****, especially on a stock Y7.

Lose/lose with a stock Y7 IMO. Not enough power up top, and gearing too long to do any good with the mid. This is all from my experience trying different exhaust manifold/exhaust and trans setups on my Y7.
