Default carbon hood re-clear- San Diego

i just got a killer deal on carbon fiber hood and its in need of a new clear coat. can any one refer me to a good/reputable shop that can do that. and what does that usually cost? im a noob when it comes to paint/body. thanks guys i appreciate the help.

It'll probably cost like $200-$300 to get it re-cleared. Maybe less cause you are just clearing it, and there will be no primer/sealer/base involved. I'm from PA so I really can't give you input on a good shop, any shop should be able to do it. Just look it over real well when it's done, if you are unhappy let them know you want it done right, and don't pay for it until you are pleased with their work.

I'm not positive on this, so don't take my word for it (unless it's right haaha), but I heard that peanut butter clears it up, because of the peanut oil.
