6th gen-how to chg timing belt
4 cyl 2000 Accord
Is there a thread on how to change out a timing/drive belt ?
I'm at 110k and think that I better get this done.
Do I remove the right side eng. mounts and bottom crank wheel ?
and does this have some kind of tensioner to loosen ?

Yah you gotta take off the crank, and both timing belt covers, and the engine mount.
there is a tensioner, If you get the timing belt it should come with the tensioner, also you should be replacing the water pump at this interval also

Here's a good write-up. It's written for a little older Accord, so you may find some little details different. But it's close enough you can see what needs to be done.

Sorry for being lazy and not reading the entire GREAT post on the belt change tutorial, I like to change the cam and crank seals, the balance shaft seals too, Honda has a keeper to hold the balance shaft seal in place for the front seal, probably a dealer item, ask about it. It was a TSB and saved many a engines.
If your timing covers have rubber seals that run around the edge that touches the block, and if everything is all oiled up then clean it up first and RTV the seals back into place now to give the RTV time to dry before you try to put the covers back in place with wet (non sticking) RTV.
NOW I will go back and read the entire post, looks great.
EDIT, they show the retainer and there is only one balance shaft seal, maybe I was thinking of a Mitsu.

haha, yeah, I'm just messin around in regards to the "BEST" comment
the seals were replaced on that engine but I didn't do it because I think I was doing something else, thats probably also why I didn't get any pictures of it. sorry about that, I believe that was discussed somewhere in that thread after the write-up.
