its hard to explain...
i have a weird noise coming from in my cylinder head. i really dont no how to explain it. if i let it idle down(it idles down around 250-500) then hit the gas real quick, thats when it makes the noise. it sounds almost like my piston is coming and hitting my valves thats the only way i no how to explain it. the guy i got it from sed the timing belt broke be4 but he took the head off and "checked" it. it runs good and all but this is bugging me. also my header has a good size crack down the middle. its not real loud but its there. will this crack make me loose power?? p.s. its the stock header. thx guys srry for the bad explanation.
nah its not really a rattle, its in the head. u cant hear it on a video, it isnt that loud. its jus when i take off sumtimes its like my piston is hitting sumthing thats all i can explain it. srry....
nope it jus makes the sound. im think maybe an intake valve might be a lil bent?? if the car is idleing and i tap the gas very very lightly, it wants to die out. jus thought id throw that out too. wut makes it idle around 250??
I think i'll put in three guess here not being able to see the car.
1. possible loose timing belt
2. Possible slight rod knock
3. partial bent valve from when the belt broke.
Like i said, without knowing which motor u have or being able to hear it these are all guess answers. wish i could help more.
