Tips on fixing this torn bumper?
was thinking plastic welding it, and fiberglass, bondo to smooth it out.
Will plastic welding even hold that together though?
p.s- its not missing a chunk or anything.

what joe said^
but since its a ef8 front bumper u might as well try....try using fiberglass as a backing and then pile on the bondo

get a plastic welding kit it is like a big soldering iron. they work great the kit usually comes with plastic stick to use as filler. It will work fine.

oh, if you didnt buy it already, dont.
i wouldnt.
the amount of time and money you would need to invest into that junker would be more than just buying a new one.
hours of slaving on that pile of plastic.
nickel and diming yourself buying plastic filler, bondo, fiberglass, sand paper, etc.
not worth it in my opinion.

Use a glue called gorilla glue (only use a little though because as it dries it expands), a little sand paper and bondo and that will take care of it. Im not a bodyshop expert but what have you got to lose you know.
You make a good point, the tools i will need to buy and small crap like sand paper will add up, and an ok one goes for 250 around here, i cant find an ef9 front up north for the life of me, everything is down south and shipping sux
By the time you fiberglass it and you have it all done, its never going to hold paint the same ever again.
Junk it buy a new one, its not worth the effort

do you realize how much that would cost?
it would be smarter and more cost effective to get a wholesalers license and buy up a bunch of new bumpers at the discounted price and sell them at retail on the internet.
its not a RARE or custom bumper as many would like to think. it's a massed produced honda part.
