rsx strut on 02 civic

i have an 02 civic lx with a blow passenger side front strut and my friend said he had a spare 03 rsx type s strut and that it would fit? does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

yes, the size of the hole where you put the bolts might be different but it'll work. it also might be a stiffer shock since the rsx is heavier...
