Well, the topic title says it all.

I know so many fireman who are into outdoor sports (hunting, fishing, etc.) but don't really know any that are into cars and/or motorsports. Or any that own/owned an ITR. I figured we'd have something else to chat about on here. Feel free to IM me and/or post if you are a firefighter.

I was an O.W.L. volunteer in Woodbridge for over 4 years. I'm now a Prince William County Professional Firefighter.

George, I vollyed @ a station in North Woodbridge & now work @ a station outside of Manassas. So, you probably never would have seen my ITR. You definitely won't see it now.

That's the fun part! We have this little game they play here, the Forest Service starts the fire and then thousands of firefighters come and put it out (or try anyaway).

I'm trying to be one. I start my fire tech class tomorrow. Hopefully in two years, I'll be a paramedic firefighter.

 

I'm an EMT in richmond. not the same, but i know we work hand in hand every day, not an ITR owner anymore though.

 

You should have seen it yesterday. There was clumps of burnt trees and grass falling from the sky. They're not saying how big it is anymore because by the time they get the info on the TV it's already grown several thousand more acres. It covered six or seven miles in about 3 or 4 hours yesterday afternoon.
