I work for shitsubishi and I can say that it's a bad idea if they are the cloth seats. The leather ones are ok but the seat back breaks on the blue cloth ones all the time. A new seat back is about $1300. I would only do it if it's mounted in a way that it can be easily removed when it breaks. ps, keep your old seats as a backup.

also tell your friend not to give you those seats they are worth a lot of money, especially if they are the leather ones.

The issue i keep seeing is the seat height, if you notice a CRX seat is very low to the floor, alot of other car seats sit much higher, if your a tall person and or like the way the CRX seats feel you may not like ones that sit higher.
