Default RMPS problem

Good mornig room,

I have a Honda Accord 1993, the RMPS indicator needle keep going up and down when engieen is idle.
I wanted to know what can cuase such problem and how to resolve it; some guy told me that there is one or more sensor that is not working properly.

Can someone please help me.!!!

Do you mean the RPM Gauge?

I think there is some kind of thing in the dist. and sends a signal to the gauge. The Hall or something effect.
