Newbie here. Please go easy on me.

My 06 RSX type S got a rock chip on the front windshield and now starting to crack. The dealer wants 900ish for the windshield plus bunch of molding parts, and labor charge. It'll cost me well over 1100 buck to get a windshield replaced. That's outrageous! I called a local windshield place, and they quoted me 330'ish. I asked why the difference in price, he said because it's not a dealer windshield, but it's still OEM windshield. Can somebody please tell me who makes the windshield for 06 RSX type S. I've been reading it's by Asahi?????? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I'd go with one of those guys that comes out to your place and does it for $300.
