Default Intake instal question

It says that VTEC motors need a hole drilled in the soft coupler of the filter in order for the vaccum line to go through. I'm not sure what this means, or how this is going to work. Does anyone know what I am talking about?

Default Re: Intake instal question (tpot90)

what "says" you need to do this?

On my 95 EX I had an Iceman CAI and I didn't drill into the coupling on my filter for any vacuum line. I did have the normal line that ran from the valve cover (iirc) to the intake pipe in there but nothing running to the filter.
