Default In the market for a 2008 Accord...

Hello,

My wife and I are pretty interested in the '08' Accord sedan. We're hoping to get the EX-L V6. (no NAV) Pricing it on the Honda site it comes out to $28,695.

Does anyone know if we could possibly get it any cheaper like around "invoice" ? Since it's so new I don't think it's available in "KBB" or "Edmunds".

If anyone already purchased one can you tell me what your "out-the-door" price was?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your input Muff man. I'm hoping to see a buddy that's a salesman at a local Honda dealer. Don't know if he can give me any discounts but at least I know I won't get bent over and F*cked with extra charges.

Anyone else in the market for a 2008 Accord?

Yeah if you personally know someone, you'll be alot better off.

I know at the Honda dealer near me - they received 3 sedans two days ago, released them today, and 2 have already sold.

I'm going to bet at a pretty penny too.

Best of luck to you I love how they look.

Anyone know if they are still offering the V6 6spd 275hp in the Sedan or is it just the Coupe now?

What I've heard is that the 6spd manual will only be offered in the Coupe and it's a 268 hp 3.5L V6 that's shared with the EX V6 sedans as well.

Thanks dude!

I agree with you. When I first saw photos on the internet I wasn't very impressed with the looks of the sedan. It reminded me of a Saturn ION. Yesterday I saw one in the dealer and was totally impressed! Inside and out, it's a really nice ride!

No, no.

The coupe and sedan have different motors.

They are both 3.5L with 268HP.

However, the coupe's motor is an old fashioned VTEC motor. Just like the current 6-6 coupe's motor, it will open a secondary intake at one RPM, and then come on the cam at a higher speed.

Honda feel that this will offer the coupe driver the kind of performance and "feel" that the sportier driver will be looking for.
