Default K-series into EM2 wiring harness question.

Can I use a base model RSX wiring harness for a swap or do I need something else? I read the writeup on xproductionz.com but it doesn't mention anything about the wiring harness other than the optinoal hasport engine harness.

u need the engine harness for that year of engine. then u have an option. u can wire it urself which is a PITA or go with hasport or hybrid racing. i went with hybrid racing.

Just as a heads up, bud. You may want to check pins 10 and 20 (relation to the heat+/- lines on the O2 sensor). They've been known to be swapped on the Hybrid Racing adapter harness. I only say this, because that's what turned out to be the problem with my car. I was throwing a P1166 code on a brand new O2 sensor, which made no sense.

Interesting fact behind that as well...the acura rsx type s service manual wiring schematic is wrong for that sensor as well.

Well that's quite interesting.

Maybe that's whythe Hybrid Racing harness is wired incorrectly?

That was a big stumbling block when i did my swap. Testing proved that the manual was wrong...but it was hours and hours of troubleshooting to figure out that fact.

Yeah, I've been running the K24 for a good 2 months already, and it just now kicked out that code. It makes me wonder if something else isn't awry, but I'll be checking the sub-harness first, mainly because it's the easiest to access.
