Can i get a exhaust middle pipe cheaper than $70?
Item number 8 - 84133

$70 for this part !!? The list price of $100 is just crazy! I"m assuming that honda's prices are the same in store locations. Pretty expensive for an 8inch? pipe.
My friend has a 91 hatch and he's missing this part after my other friend used it as a doner (hah the friend story always makes it sound like the poster ^_-)
Anyway we found one in the junkyard, but its never fun lifting a car in one. Got 4 bolts off one i found and the last wouldn't break. Just my luck.
Anyway,, is there anyway to get it cheaper? we need the part by friday, and i'm just trying to find him a cheaper price. If not, i guess we'll have to get it from honda.
thanks

Hmm, I don't think you are going to find cheaper than a junkyard... But if its driveable, take it down to your local muffler/exhaust shop. There are a bunch around my area that charge maybe 30 bucks to fabricate a bolt on/ bolt off straight pipe.

that doesn't sound as bad ^_^
But unfortunately, he doesn't have AAA or want to pay for the towing (in which he might as well just buy the part (shop + Tow ) Can't drive it cause it sounds like open header.. only header and downpipe. I wasn't sure if the fab they would make would bolt on/off.
anyway thanks..
