Default rsx shift ****

So I'm probably going to get a Revo Technica SS here soon, and I wanted to get an RSX 5spd shift ****. Well I was examining the shifter and i found out the boot attaches to the stock shift **** by a clip, which will probably not be on an RSX shift ****. So my question would be how is my boot going to attach to the new shift ****?

which **** are you wanting?

if it's the plastic one, it clips into your current clip.

if you're getting an aluminum one, you need the clip from honda for it...

the plastic shift **** should clip into your current boot. the type s shift **** has that clip so i'm assuming the 5 spd will have that clip too.

go to or call your friendly local Acura stealership, tell them you have the aluminum 5-speed accessory **** for the base RSX and that you need the clip that connects to the shift boot. They'll be able to look it up and order it for you.

-but- if that is the OEM kit w/****, it should come with the clip to convert it. But you never know on the 'net, either way its NBD, it won't cost much or take long to get one from the dealership.

the only ones I know of that flow properly are the OEM one and the stock plastic RSX ones. I think there was an old prelude **** that had the clips in it, but I don't know if it flows/looks right, its more squarish.

none of the metal ones have a built in clip. not sure if the skunk2 includes the conversion clip, doubt it.
