Default are arp main studs a must/.

looking to make close to 400whp in my turbo h22a4. just wondering if arp mains a must or not. how many people maken good power on stock. thanks

I'm not sure if there a must, but why chance it they're pretty cheap. I know I woulden't want my head lifting.

you'll have to have the mains align honed if you plan to run the studs. prolly not a bad idea though.

yea you should be fine. i would use some umm whats that **** called..molly lube or something..works really good.

i would get them, they are cheap around 100 bucks.. i personally use AEBS i like those over the ARP

its moly lube.. arp makes some good stuff.. i use that along with oil to thread my studs in.. as well as the main bolts and other engine bolts, when i build motors.

Then add on another $200 to $300 for a proper line hone, which is required when converting to mainstuds.

yeah i wouldnt get them, i use stock main bolts with good success
