Default Flywheel (actual) weights D series

id like to know the weight of D series stock flywheels. ACTUAL weights, like on a scale. pic to prove preferred.

in fact, ill paypal anyone $5 if you show pics on a postal scale of at least THREE DIFFERENT flywheels. any year/model. im looking for particularly the lighter ones, like HF and CX flywheels, but i need a Si baseline. please authenticate the flywheels origin, no guesses.

you have our gratitude.

If I were at home I could of gotten you a 89 D15B2 weight at least to get the ball rolling. I'm sure someone else can get to it though before the next time i'm there.

It probably would be a good idea to get more than 1 weight though because of resurfacing and other things that happen over the years.

Ok, nevermind. I can tell you that it is more than 11 lbs! My scale maxed out.

92-95 DX/EX/Si = 18.0-18.5 lbs

92-95 VX/CX - 15.0-15.5 lbs

#1 cut down stocker = 12.3 lbs

#2 cut down stoker = 11.8 lbs

This is using a postal scale, within .1 oz tolerance

i tried to do the same thing years ago with B series and a few months back with K series....

this part is what you need to emphasis " please authenticate the flywheels origin, no guesses. "

so i found my stash of various flywheels and weighed them.

ive got two that weigh in at 16.3 and 16.6 lbs. the 16.6 one is supposedly sourced from a SOHC ZC engine. not sure which exactly. it looks like your "15" one. not quite sure where i got the other one, but its the lighter of the two and i'll be putting my Accord disc on it anyway to mate to my 88 tranny.

the other 3 are around 18 and some lbs. one of them is a small disc type, either 88 or 89. those are going to the recycler....
