how do you remove and re-install the exterior "Garnish" or windshield molding. The molding I'm speaking of is the wider molding that actually partially sits over both, the right and left sides of the windshield and is between the front doors and the windshield itself. It goes from the exterior roof of the car to just under the back side of the hood. I'd appreciate any help I can get. The Car: 2002 Honda Civic LX

 

All I did to mine was stick my key in at the top by the roof and pryed it. It just snaps in there.

 

Why exactly are you taking said "garnish" off?

 

maybe he's changing his windshield?...

 

to what a different style?
