CA emissions legal?

Default CA emissions legal?

would a mini-me setup d15b2 block with a Y8 head be emissions legal in california? Could not find anything in search.

You might have problems at some stations, but if it runs clean, then they really won't say anything. They usually frown on twin cam motors more.
Depending on what part of CA you live, there are a few places you can go that give you no problems.

Technically, it is not legal. In California, it is not legal to mix and match emissions sensitive parts. And it would be pretty easy to tell that you do not have a stock setup since you will have MPFI.

i was goin for the mini me, i painted the vavle cover with wrinkle paint and it looked totally stock, so if you do that, i'm sure when you go in for a smog check they wont think anything of it, if they even knew about hondas the block stamp will still be the same
