My girlfriend wants to race next year with me and I got some money saved up. I have a crx I got from a friend that decided not to build it. But before I start pouring money in to it I wanted to see what used cars are out there and if there are any deals that are too good to pass up.

Prefer in CA but will look at others.

That is a nice car but is quite a ways out of my budget range.

 

mike, contact the redstone guys. Brent used to drive for them, last i heard he was done with racing. He wasn't exactly trying to sell the car, but maybe he might want to.

Also Mike lock from calculated Risks has a few cars that might be or are for sale. One is an 87 crx si, great cheap car to run, and IIRC you can swap a b16a in there and she would have a H2 car for not to much money. The suspension is really different but once you get them figured out they are pretty fun to drive from what everyone else says. They also have a DA, but i don't think that it is for sale. However the Del Sol has always been f/s and now that it is absent a motor, I am sure mike could put anything into it.

not sure that I'm going to build.. I'll probably shop for awhile to preferably find a car already done..
