alright... my car mad a shitty noise taking right turns... but it only makes a shitty noise when the gas is on while in gear if I take a right turn... it doesnt make the noise if it's in gear and no acceleration is being applied. or if I just coast threw a right turn... alright I was thinking cv joint or boot... I went n got a new outter cv boot for the right driver side axle and oil and I took my axle apart and cleaned all the bearings n stuff.. n looked at it all but it didnt look that bad everything looked like pretty good shape the boot was done but everything else looked pretty good... I saw a little bit of wear but what causes this shitty noise?? I replaced the boot since the old one had been leaking oil n stuff and it seemed to calm the noise down a lot but now it's back to as bad or worse than it was... what's wrong? or do I jus need a whole new axle?

 

When you replaced the boot, did you packed in new grease? Did you completely clean out the joint before repacking the grease? How long was the old boot torn open?

Some stuff that can happen, some dirt, gravel, and water may have entered the boot.

How's the other side (axle)? No torn?

I would just replace the whole axle.

 

it wasnt torn too long like a day err two.. but I thought that I would try this first to see if it would help... but I cleaned everything every bearing every piece... I cleaned them in gasoline and made sure everything was dry before putting them all back in. Everything seemed to be in all pretty good condition although I've never seen the inside of an axle before. Along the inner side of the cup piece it had a little wear looking mark but it wasnt a big groove err ne thing... I put itall back together and put grease in it and filled it up put it back on and drove it around a little bit until the noise stopped... but now it's back again just as bad as before but the boot's all good on both sides... I dunno what's going on...
