Default quick ?: manual tx from a 96 into a 98 civic?

hi all,

quick and easy question (i hope). ive got a '98 civic dx, im trying to replace the manual trans this weekend, i found one from a '96 civic for a decent price with relatively low mileage...

will the '96 transmission fit easily into the '98? everything i've found points to yes but i thought i'd ask here one time before spending any money... this should be an easy no-worries fit, right?

any help/feedback appreciated. thanks in advance,
aaron
