my choices are between pioneer, eclipse, and alpine.

i want something under a grand on ebay, but i'm not sure what to go with.
this is for a 350z btw..(GF's car)

 

any opinions, input, knowledge, insight, help, or whatever is appreciated

 

imo, if you can fit a DD screen into your DD opening. do it.

it looks alot cleaner, than a pop out..IMO

problem is that some dd don't really fit too well...i have read - forget where tho...don't ask me i'm not a professional installer..

only thing with a DD is that when people look into your car, they can see the screen...

but then again if you know what you are looking at you can tell if its a pop-out or not..

first see if the DD unit can fit, if it fits flawlessly.. then great...

 

i would think that if you have a double din opening then a double din radio would be an obvious choice. it will give a much cleaner looking install. more oem looking.

 

Don't go out and buy you HU off of eBay. Most of the time the equipment being sold is refurbished.

yah i think i'm gonna go with a double din alpine...and upgrade with a processor down the line along with quality component speakers, good amp, etc to get some decent sound
