Battery Installed wrong
Acura RL 2004
Question
Hi, I purchased a new replacement battery from pep boys for a 04 Acura, they gave me the wrong one, the terminals were opposite. When I put it in the cables didn't fit and it sparked. Well, finally I have the correct battery, but now the car is completely DEAD. The bell doesn't ring when I put the key in, AND I can't even put the car in Neutral to push it. What could have happened?
If the issue is a blown fuse is it very difficult to remove & replace it?
Thanks for your time,

Thanks for your time,
yea its def a fuse problem...its your main fuse under ur hood its not a normal little one is longated, with copper strips on the side of it, and itrs scrwed into the fuse box very easy to install....might have to order it from honda and might be special order
i did this on my old accord before and all that was required to replace the battery fuse under the hood. very easy install. as stated above, u might want to go to Acura to order this. when i got mine from autozone, it wasn't the right size.
