well does anyone know which car is faster, i know that ls has 140hp and the ex has 127hp but ls is no vtec and ex is.

 

HP is HP, no matter if u have vtec or not, and in answer to yer question, an LS would probley gain about a car length on u until 3rd, but then the LS will disapear and its all over.

edit: i'd say go for tha LS because the D series are no where as good as the B series and no one so far has swapped a K series motor into a non Si 7th gen civic, plus the LS is a great candinate for LSVtec or LSTurbo

Except that the K series bolts right into a EX coupe and imo the civic coupe looks better then an ls inside and out. Not to mention, the K series will prolly end up overcomming the B series in moddability (if thats a word) as the Si, CTR and RSX lines pick up.

Then again, if your going to spend 16 grand on a car then look for something with more HP used or save up and get an Si. Not to mention, you can definitely find a used GSR for that price and maybe even a used Type-R.

 

wannab i would go ls turbo but i live in california and cal rapes cars on shitty emissions and ****. Also my insurance is gonna be too much for a gsr or type r or rsx the only two cars i can really afford are these two and maybe an si but im not even sure about that. Thx for ur opinions and advice u guys rock

Yes and how many wrecked RSX's do you see floating around? Do YOU care to drop what was it? 8000$? for a new K-series S engine from the factory? Prolly not.

I think they look really nice except for the 8' long trunk...but I've seen a few local ones dropped on 99-00 Si rims, and they look very nice.
