I've been looking at buying a JDM cluster and the only one I've found is for an A/T Prelude. I only need the Speedometer but I noticed that the mileage is in a different location. The vehicle mileage is on top and the trip mileage is on the bottom opposite of mine. Will it still work in my M/T Prelude?
you cant just take the speedometer out from the tach if thts what ur asking but if its the whole piece you just need to cut off the left side tabs
i think your speed will read incorrectly.
i remember when i bought an EL gauge cluster, i pulled a dum-dum move and didn't realize the cluster was A/T, so it was P, R, D, etc. on it. didn't realize till it was installed, either. so i just left it.
problem was that it was reading my mph a lot higher. i'd be going about 30, and my speedo would be up around 55-ish. when i was coasting to a stop, where i knew i was doing less than 5 mph, my speedo was up around 12-ish. it was wrong across the board.
