bearing noise in alternator

there is no greasing it, most likely its gettin ready to go out. you can possibly get it rebuilt or get a new dizzy. This happended to me and also a buddy of mine. I would get it fixed asap cause when it blows out the dizzy can freeze up and it sucks if your on the road.
Also i have heard that some have locked up so bad that it cause the timing belt to jump a tooth because the cam becomes hard to turn. But i have never seen it. could be wrong

alternators for EF's are abundant and not that hard to change if you sneak it out through the wheel well. Check your belt tension, too much tension will prematurely wear the bearing out.
