Default alternator to ecu fuel saving

well on my 88 crx it has the lights dim when i let off the gas thing so is there a wire i can cut from teh alternator to the ecu to jsut have the alternator putting out its fuel volts at all time. you have to do that anyway to upgrade to obd1 right?

Sounds like you have a weak alternator or bad engine ground. Fix the problem, don't rig it up....

its normal for the lights to dim slightly with a load on at idle. dont worry about if. unless your battery isnt charging leave it alone. and no you can use the ELD with obd1
