let your car warm up completly then try again. sounds like the cold rev limiter to me...

he can be a slight dick, but he is an extremely knowledgeable honda enthusiast who many around here have learned great info from. I would take that info and run, consider what he said and move on. if ur car sat three hours like you said, then no it wasnt warm all the way no matter what ur little guage said.

edit: he probably means that you forget the "d" in AND, some people appreciate proper word usage, since that is a completely different word. Internet slang/abbreviation is okay, but it has to mean the word you are intending to use. Just a thought

no, it's a little bit more than that. but, that's a start.

if it WAS fully warmed up, my second guess would be oil pressure.

sometimes it feels like its laging it an then the power just bumps back on why would that be??? this happens in low rpms like from 3rpms an up,(when im driving normal)any clue what it could be or is that from the oil presure too?

everything you check and fix would be beneficial. dont just assume the screen is clean.

you've never seen a vtec solenoid? take it off, replace the screen/gasket.
