Default Skunk2 Mega Power "R" Dyno -RSX Turbo

I did a baseline run for a customer of mine today. We traded out his old Tsudo N1 exhaust for a SKUNK2 MEGA POWER "R".

The new line from Skunk2 has bigger piping diameter over their old exhausts and is made in mind for those wanting to step their turbo or NA cars up to a better off the shelf system.

This is great news for you guys that have mild to medium turbo cars or NA motors that are in the market for an affordable BOLT on exhaust thats STAINLESS STEEL.

Here are the gains at the same boost (8.3psi) on a greddy kit on a RSX-TYPE-S

Red- SKunk2
BLue-Tsudo N1 (mandrel bent similar to Apex)

30+Whp and 30+TQ aint bad for a bolt on.

He needs a little more tuning to get a smoother graph, so we may see a few more HP once its all said an done.

What does this mean? you can expect to pick up ALOT of power over your stock or other Standard piping exhaust with the Skunk2 Unit.

enjoy

i can get some pics for ya. the Tsudo is the same piping diameter as all the other off the shelf exhausts like Greddy, Apex (60mm), the regular skunk2, etc.

so this option is a bigger piping diamter and picks up a good gain.

I know around here that people are always trying to find the biggest BOLT on exhaust they can find. If you want a 3in exhaust it has to be custom fabbed which usually means big money or a cheap mild steel exhaust.

this way you get a NAME BRAND exhaust thats STAINLESS STEEL and designed to work with your stock cat or stock sized test pipe. i just thought this was good info for the guys making under 400whp

We will be adding some Skunk2 Stage 1 K cams in a few weeks to see how much we can gain from cams

How heavy is this SS exhaust?

Usually anything SS is a bit on the heavy side?

Also are you guys open on the weekends to do some exhaust repair? my exhaust is hanging a bit low for my taste and I would like to get it fixed. It's a mild steal custom one.
