hit a curb a while back.... wheel pushed back about an inch question is.. is it possible to bent the rear sub-frame but not lower control arm.. or by the time the rear sub-frame gets damages.. the lower control gotten way more of the impact already

reason is shop want 600 to change rear-sub frame + LCA, and i saw somewhere online before it's $75US (don't remember where i can get it either.. if someone can lead me to it again) to get a pair of F-LCA... so if i can just replace the LCA and fix the problem.. then great.. if not.. i should still save a bit right?

also.. body shop said knuckle, hub could be damaged also... and right wheel a pushed back more than left wheel.. donno if that makes any difference

 

since you dont know im pretty sure no one here can help diagnose the problem either... hard to say without looking at it, your best bet might be to pay the shop who quoted you the 600 and have them fix it 100%.

and the pictures of the wheel dont help at all, a picture of the whole assembly with the wheel off would.

if it was me i'd disassemble both sides, and compare them to each other.

if that's not possible then there really is no point to this conversation, you're going to have to pay to get it done anyway.

Civics dont have sub-frames.

 

really....? civic don't have rear sub frames... i see it everywhere being mentioned... anyone else have an opinion on that? because if it really don't have a rear sub frame.. there would only be one part that's very likely to be damaged..

did the alignment the car can't really go straight.. one wheel's camber was like -5.xx

did it so that i can at least drive till i have money to save more money...

Yes they do ....

Our cars have front AND rear subframes.

I think maybe you should get that looked at before you spend even more money with a -5 camber.

SO then this whole time ASR has been advertising their rear subframe plate, we've been getting hosed?

Haha dam dude. I did the exact same thing in my car. It sucks, but i hit mine in the front hoped the curb at like 20 and hit a brick mai-box.... I'm still working on it a year later....

 

i'll just replace the LCA first.. if things are still needed.. i'll just them one by one... too costly together

so anyone know where to get LCA for cheap?
