All you have to do is look around a bit...

there is some details to where the lip of the hose and the box connect. i want to know if it goes over some ridges.

 

there should be two small nubs like 1/4" apart on the top of the arm of the box, and a single nub that matches up with them on the arm. When the nub on the arm goes in between the nubs on the box, you are all set.
