Towing Hitch on 96 H23
I am moving from NY to FL at the end of the month, I want to tow a small UHaul trailer with a loaded weight of 1150 Lbs down with me. Has anyone seen a trailer hitch on a Lude before? Is it even possible to attach a hitch to this car? Any feed back would be much appreciated.
yes it is possible i have seen civic hatchs and eclipses with them. is it the best idea probably not, a car is not meant to pull and stop a trailor. but you can do it
my friend has a receiver hitch that we installed on his 90 accord. we haul 2 place jet ski trailer with jet ski's and he huals his snowmobile with it, no probs. it's f22 5spd.
that sounds like it would be fun for the first couple of hours... like a steering game or something, but just a hassle after that lol. think ur info is in your manual if u have it, or get ahold of one. i know for my brother's 05LXaccord loading 600pounds of cement into the trunk made a huge difference. + 3 passengers and some other items. acceleration was fine, but braking was compromised a noticable difference. i hope that gives u an idea, im not sure but i think the 05LX came with somewhere aroudn the h23's power. with a lot more weight stock for stock.
ya update 160bhp at about 3300 pounds
