Pic request of you stock front bumper. Cut out or no?
If any of you have seen my car, the previous owner had installed foglights in the bottom portion of the bumper where the horizontal "ribs" are. I would like to take them out and am contemplating cutting out the ribs altogether.
Does this affect the rigidity of the bumper? I don't want it flapping up and down once i remove them.
If you have done this (you turbo guys maybe for your I/C's?), mind posting a pic of it?
Thanks!

No, the bumper will be fine.

Contrary to what Tippyman says, I'd be conserned about the lower section not being stiff enough. But that's just me personally, Tippy may have already done it.
If it ends up not being strong enough, you could always pop rivet a piece of aluminum angle where it can't be seen.
Go for it.

All of the ribs have been cut out of my CRX's bumper and its plenty rigid. It still was even when I didn't have a lip.
