What Should I Spray My Intercooler With?

Default What Should I Spray My Intercooler With?

i've been told that if i spray my intercooler with spray paint it'd clog it up, however i've also been told that i could use EITHER - Radiator Spray or BBQ spray? is this true? i cant afford to anodize so thats out of the question...

I'm guessing that this is to paint it black right?


Honestly, it doesn't matter. As long as you don't cake the paint on there its gonna be fine with any kind of spray paint. I used Hi-temp BBQ paint on mine and it flows fine. Just go over it with a couple light coats and you will be fine.

I think radiator paint would be best since it's kinda designed for the same application.

I just had my radiator black anodized. Not as cheap, but no worries about paint buildup or chipping.
