Default Good starter bike for someone.

Found this going through craigslist today. It's an SV complete with riding gear for someone looking into riding for the first time. The only flaw I can see for a new rider is that they changed the rear sprocket and they probably went a couple teeth bigger I'm guessing.

That looks like a very nice deal provided the gear is in good condition and fits the person that buys it.

Its not really a deal at all considering the nearly 20k miles on it. Full fairing 05's are going for 4k-4.5k with low miles. He is throwing in some gear though.

I don't think that is that good of a price at all, I got my 06 naked brand new for 4699 as a leftover. With taxes/title/tag i walked out for 5k So once you factor all that stuff in your getting a bike with 18000 more miles than i did for not that much less. Lowball the guy

oh ya and the vr-2 might be good for you, but I found mine to be not that comfortable. The padding around the crown is shaped like a donut and put wierd pressure on my head.
