Looks like you need to clean up the tune past 6200 rpms.

we are thinking boost controller and too small of a turbine housing and wastegate. this was 25psi and 112 sunoco

.63 ar seems to be spoolling up late! any plans to change to a larger ar on the exhaust side and maybe and clean up the top end? what cams are you using?

Also wondering what cams are in there. Never really seen hp peak above 8500rpm. Looks like bc is causing the wavering on the top end.

they are the stock ITR cams. we are thinking the waviness above vtec is the boost controlle and small turbine housing.

it acutually has plenty of fuel. that is roughly a 12:1 af ratio on racegas up top and we pulled a lot of fuel the last few pulls

more than likely the big drop in power and the lumpiness at higher rpms

Insufficient turbine housing will not cause those ripples; either too rich, not enough timing, boost controller issues or all of the above...

I.E. "get it retuned"

I've made 515whp//378ft/lbs (Dynojet) [100 unleaded] on a stock bore/stroke/sleeves/head/cams B18C1 with 9:1 cr and a t3/60-1 .63ar @26psi.

See below plot (NOTE: was on a Mustang MD-500 which is 15ish% lower than a 248C)

15psi versus 24psi
Please review the smoothness of the plot(s)

Not trying to bench/internet race, just stating that a smoother curve is needed in your setup

it's 12:1 from boost to rev limit, reading the plugs the timing is perfect and boost control is an issue. you can hear the compressor surge. it is the small housing.

mustang dyno sheets are always 100% smooth it is the way they work. also I dont see 515whp on that sheet all I see is 430whp
