Alright my friend..... check this out..... consider this.... what would be the point of having your car fast... if you can't control it?!
Think of it this way.... before you actually add things to the engine to "breath" better and add thing to your exhaust to "release" back pressure.... you should upgrade your suspension and your brakes first... remember this simple rule... better be safe than sorry.... right?!

No one starts on "this" knowing everything.... so... by reading, it will clear a lot of questions that you may have, learning about what to do to your car will help decide what mods should you consider adding to your accord.

Going along with gianinline, I must say that suspension modifications provide the best, and most noticeable results for accords. You're not going to get a dramatic increase in 'speed', short of nitrous or forced induction. Stick to the car's strong points of comfort and agility.

sucks for youu. listen to gianiline and upgrade your suspension...but a quick power adder that I have seen many people do on auto accords is a 50 shot of nitrious...since you seem to not know much I reccomend you find a shop thathas some reputable good work and have them throw o na kit...bam tyoull be happy(till it blows up)

Lets see, a '95 probably has at least 10K miles/year, so you are running maybe 120K+ on the car? 150K? 170K?
Boost the engine, it will blow.
If you want a great car, and plan to keep it, START with the brakes and suspension first. ANY car (Japanese included) that is this old has corroded rubber all through the suspension. This occurs through age, mileage, and ozone from city air (ozone corrodes all rubber, eats it like crazy).
So, if you spend a bunch of $$$ on the engine/tranney, you will have a car that is "fast" up to about 75. At that point it will shimmey, vibrate, not steer straight, stay in alignment, eat tires, and the brakes are probably pretty well shot out.
If you drop the car, without addressing all the suspension bushings, trailing arms and bearings you will have a lowered car that will have problems at higher speeds. This is a common problem-rookies spend $$$ to drop a car so it looks good, but it handles like **** at high speeds because 50% of the suspension is still shot out.
Easy? Hell no, hard work, and dirty as hell. But if you really go through the suspension entirely you will have a car that looks good and handles perfectly, better than when it was new.
Cheap? No. A good suspension kit (say ES) runs about $300, not too bad, but you may double that with the $$$ for shop presswork, and parts such as bearings add up fast. Brakework won't be too bad unless you go crazy outside of OEM Honda, and the truth is Honda makes very good OEM brake systems (unless you plan to run track at 120+ mph regularly).
I have a '94, and started with the suspension and brakes. The brakes were gutted/rebuilt mostly OEM, but everything was replaced (master/SS lines/rotors/calipers/corroded hardware). I also gutted the suspension (springs/struts/hardware/bushings/seals/bearings/control arms/you name it, it was rebuilt). The struts/springs were only a small part of the entire cost, maybe 30% of the total suepension parts bill.
So what did I end up with? A '94 with a cheery suspension, very, very tight and responsive. When I finished I put on $800 of rubber (10K miles ago), and the tires show almost zero wear at 10K miles (the true test of a suspension rebuild!). The truth is the tires are wearing slower than when the car was new!
The mostly OEM brake system will put your face throught the windshield-why spend more? (I also upgraded to HP axles, including entirely rebuilding the inboard driveshaft).
The total cost? About $3000 for parts and machine-shop work, and I did almost all the labor myself. The cost to have it all done? Maybe around 8-9k, with parts, so forget it.
Next I go after the engine. The truth is with cam/valves/pistons/rods/clutch everything I will probably have LESS into the engine/tranney than the brakes/suspension!
After 30 years working on my cars, I am in the camp that believes the car has to handle and brake right first, before adding the power. dood I thin k that this is a misleading statement because I know plenty of peopl who boost F series motors with over 150xxx miles and ghave no seriouvs problems with it...It's all about having an Intelligent setup, a good tuner, and a basic if bnot advanced knowleged of cars......anyway
