I have a 97 honda civic m/t with a ctr motor i just put in and did the obd2 to obd1 conversion.I a p30 ecu on it and it ran smooth but not enough power the ecu was holding it back so i bought a usdm p30 and had it chipped now my idle is rolling up and down anywhere from 900 rpm to 2000 rpm and wont stop period tryed cleaning iac valve out and adjusting idle screw but didnt help and i have no vacuum leaks at all checked that also so if anyone has any info i would greatly appreciate it thanks.

 

did you check the iacv? to see if it works...any CELS?

 

Yeah ive checked that and cleaned it out and everything and i had a check engine light that just randomly popped up and it was code 17 which is the vss and the other was 1 for the o2 sensor but they were soft codes.
