Just installed a shark II and reception is decent in some places and a little bit of static in others. Yes, I have the power line hooked up to the 12v power.

Is there a way to boost the signal even more? I read a few forums where they put copper on the base and it helped a little.. Others have tried the Insight antenna.

Any thoughts on how to boost other than the two suggestions above?

BTW.. AM is crystal clear if anyone cares...
