Default How much of a diff between em1 and fit manual setup?

I'm planning on buying my wife a fit sport before the winter hits. We'll be trading in her 2004 Chevy Crapalier. I wanna buy her the manual fit, however, she's never driven stick. I have an EM1 and was thinking about taking her out the the parking lot to get her used to it. My question is since a fit is throttle by wire, would it be easier to wait and teach her in the fit or teach her first in my car? My local dealership doesn't have a manual that i can test drive.

I figured it would be ok to toss this in this forum since there might be some one that has a em1 (or other 92-00 stick) and has driven a newer honda. I got this is the fit forum too but the traffic in there is almost non-exsitant I figured I'd get a better reponse.

if u know how to drive a stick .the principal is the same no matter it is a hydrolic tranny or cable..5 speed manual or 6 speed..and manual civic is always a good car to start with.

Cool. I drove a 07 sentra ser spec v a month ago and it felt a bit different, but i got used to it. If that seems to be a recurring theme with the new manual cars we should be good.
