okay, slicks for dc5.. what size wheel for slick be best?
As title stated, i'm looking into for some slick for my 05 type-s. Need a little advise here. Like which size wheel with slick will be good for the dc5. I would thought it'll be terrible if i have slick tires put on those stock 17's wheel. Instead, get a pair of the right size and good weight for slick.
btw, i ran 1/8 miles time @ 9.8 sec with street tires on i/rh. a hb b16a ran 10.2 with street tire, then 9.2 with slick. wow!

Determine what size drag radial you want to run (height and width), then pick the best wheel for said tire.
With that said, drag radials don't need short sidewalls, so I'd run no larger than a 16". 15's will only fit over the front calipers with certain wheels. 16" may be your best bet.

16's huh. alright got that. best looking for 16's then, instead of tryin to find 15's and have problem with calipers. thanks for the advise.
find some v6 mustang wheels their cheap, they fit and are some what lite, with just Intake and exhaust don't get any slick or radial taller than 23 inches.
No use in getting slicks with i/rh. You'll bog with just about any size. If you are looking for drag radials run hoosiers. They fit on the stock rims but arent recommended for street use.
