Rep your engine bay thread.

I have to say though, disappointed that you went with a PCV breather filter...
</TD></TR></TABLE>
I ran out of time to run a reservoir, but I've got my uncle fabricating something nice for me.
I'm also replacing the Coolant overflow reservoir, as well as the Power Steering reservoir. Then, it'll be the fun task of re-wiring the engine to a more "professional" standard. The current setup works, but I want a nicer setup.

Well, I don't know how much "tucking" I'll do, since I prefer function over form. I just want a little bit more manageable wiring setup. Right now, I've got a few free wires that could use some "slack adjustment".

word. glad to know your on top of it. I always shudder at the sight of a breather filter... these honda's need positive pressure to keep the system clean. that swap deserves a great setup.
how's your 1st and 2nd gear traction? got LSD?
all of these k's make me not want to post up my civic's bay... LOL I'm leaning more towards posting the RSX's bay just to be on the K train.

very nice, high five.... wish I could justify turboing the civ, I just keep pouring money into the RSX instead.

Matt, is your intake filter heat soak free? How's it working? Is it a K&N on custom pipe?
Asking honestly, not trying to suggest anything bad about the best setup in this thread so far (IMO).

Stock '03 RSX-S transmission, for now. I'm building a new transmission soon for it, because this one taps out too early. I'm aiming for fuel economy, so the lower the RPM's, the better. Judge if you will, but it's not your money.
1st is pretty much useless, but 2nd is nice, and 3rd is solid around curvy roads.
And, yes, I want to change that horrid breather for the valvecover, but I have to make do with what I have for now. The custom intake plenum isn't completely done yet. So, therefore, the new intake box isn't done either.

Unfortunately, it's an AutoZone special.
I'm not proud of it, but it does keep the majority of crap out of the engine, which is respectable in it's own way. It'll get replaced very soon, trust me.

You'll need custom A/C lines from the Compressor to the car, and from the Condensor to the Compressor. I just brought in my car to a local custom line shop, and had them do it for me.
