si cluster question

Default si cluster question

just installed an si cluster in my 91 hatch and the tach keeps reading like 1k or 1500 rpms at idle and i know for sure its not. I have a zc swap in it so would that have nething to do with the tach being off by that much

its probably not the cluster, how are you sure that its not actually idling at that rpm

because i know wat 1500 rpms sounds like and it definitly is not at that its at the stock 750 or so

my tach does the same thing. it says im idling at 1k but its so quite... but when i start to go the rpms sound like they are about right on with the tach

cuz i dont want a five inch spotlight sitting on my dash advertising for the rice buffet sorry i just hate how that looks and would like to keep it extremely stock

did you check your dizzy is it on time with the pulley just do a timing test.
