Default F/S F/T 97 Civic coupe, $5,000 PA

CAR IS SOLD

Trying to trade for either civic or integra any year, coupe or hatchback. No rust, clean mods, clean car and has a motor swap. Must have documentation for the swap and 90,000 miles or less. No trans grinds.

I am willing to add money on top of the trade and meet half way or something.

My car is a 97 Honda Civic Dx coupe. Milano red 5spd. 132,000 miles on stock D16y7. Car is inspected in PA until 9/07.
Price: $5,000obo. I am pretty flexible on the price so give me some offers and trade offers. PM me with interests or send me messages to hamydoug@aol.com

Bad: A few rock chips on the hood and bumper, very very small rust zone on passenger quarter panel. Dent on front drivers side fender and a few smaller dents on passenger side from door dings. Also recently the Dx emblem came flying, some residue I can't get off is still there. Also on the drivers door there should be a thin black plastic door ding protector on the edge of the door, well when I bought the car it wasn't there. It just doesn't bother me enough to get one.

That should be it, mechanically the car is great, no trans grinds, never had any problems with the motor. Paint is still really nice, everybody says it is one of the nicest ek coupes around.
Just today 7/23/07 I changed the oil and removed the header. I didn't like the ricer raspyness and how it made the exhaust hang lower. Stock header/cat is back on the car. I will still include the header or put it on for you.

Engine:
132,000 miles on D16y7 non vtec
B&M short shifter
ES shifter bushings
AEM short ram intake
JDM Sports 3 inch carbon canister cat back exhaust
Megan racing header, not installed currently
Recent spark plug and plug wire replacement w/ Bosch

Suspension:
Omni Power coil sleeves
KYB AGX GR2 non adjustable struts

Wheels and tires:
17 inch Flik FTD matt black 5 spoke wheels
Kumho tires 90% tread left
Wheels and tires only used for two summers
Stock 14 inch wheels, 40% tread
Full sized brand new spare

Exterior:
Type R ABS plastic front lip
HID 4000k headlights
Password JDM yellow fog lights
Civic Ex red and clear tail lights
Also have brand new type r grill, just needs painted

Interior:
Password JDM type r shift boot
Burnt titanium shift ****
Jensig head unit
Audiobahn 12 inch sub in custom sub box that fills in the spare tire area
Ebay 800watt amp, it sounds good clean sound, not overly loud

Stock parts: I can include some, all, or none...it's up to you.
Wheels
shifter
shift ****
intake
shift boot
headlight bulbs
tail lights
radio/cassette player
other random interior parts

Here is a video of the car with pics and such:

It's something that I've thought about. But right now, where I'm living up at school the winters are bad, so I'm gonna need something that can handle snow. I have a few things in mind right now that are around 5k. Basically something stock. I don't if I can come up with 3k for a motor swap. Because in the end I'll need that much money.

Any suggestions???

just do an ls swap with a gsr trans or even just leave the ls trans. that setup is extremely nice for daily driving. i have an ls in my daily car with b16 trans with ls 5th gear and its about as perfect a daily driver as i could ask for. you can piece together an ls swap for 1k-1.5k depending on the parts and trans. pm me if you decide to do a swap
