B16 -91 civic HEADER HELP NEEDED

Default B16 -91 civic HEADER HELP NEEDED

i know qhwn you swap the b16 into a crx you have to bang the front cross member but can the stock manifold and down pipe fit in a 91 civic hatch back . if not what is the easiest and cheapest way to make it WORK.

a stock or 4-2-1 header will fit w/o problems. If you want to run a 4-1, THEN you have to bang out the crossmember just a bit. you will be 100% fine with your header

It depends on mounts and header, some fit some don't.

It's one of those, you'll know when you are doing it ordeal.

oops, i forgot about all the diff mounts available. If you run Hasport then you'll be fine, thats what I run. it also helps if you front end has never been wrecked, these efs are prett much never the same after bad front end damage

Honestly lol.

I've needed to smash an X member for the same setup in a different car and with one I havn't.. niether were wrecked.

my 90 hatch with a b16a swap has the front crossmember banged in but since i bought it with the swap done i have no idea what mounts the guy used. But it has the stock b16a exhaust manifold.

You can use an aftermarket crossmember they go for $150 online it works wtih the tierods goof luck

i run a stock header on my b16 with an unmodified cross member in a 91 ED sedan... weird.
